The People’s Democratic Party, PDP, in Ekiti state has faulted the statement by the All Progressives Congress, APC, against Governor Ayo Fayose, saying it is bereft of common sense or any element of wisdom and it could only be a blind mind mentality to say a governor that has embarked on construction of different roads across the state is not facing governance.
The State Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party , Mr Jackson Adebayo while reacting to the opposition party’s allegation that the governor is trying to cause confusion in the APC and ridicule its leaders said that statement demonstrated their level of ignorance.
He also stressed that the statement has shown that APC leadership do not even understand what governance is all about and that it does not have the requisite wisdom to discern between lie, blackmail and noise when they said that Fayose lies will not take him to anywhere after they have failed to rubbish the popularity of the governor among workers and people on the street.
Its another bad market for the APC to be fabricating falsehood to cover up lies and inconsistencies among their so called leaders while at thesame time condemning lies which is known to be the insignia of office of the opposition party in Ekiti State.
APC accuses Fayose of divisive tactics
The All Progressives Congress, APC, in Ekiti State had accused Governor Ayodele Fayose of trying to cause confusion in the APC and ridicule its leaders.
Reacting to media reports that former Speaker of Ekiti State House of Assembly, Femi Bamisile, begged the governor to help facilitate his defection to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Publicity Secretary, Taiwo Olatunbosun, said the report was concocted by Fayose and his “discredited media aides” to cause confusion, ignite anger among APC members and put the former Speaker in a weak position that would hurt his mobilisation drive to put APC in a firm footing.
Noting that Bamisile’s rising popularity had sent jitters down Fayose’s spine, he said that the governor’s past was haunting him, making him feeling unsafe over the fate that awaited him in the new dispensation where the rule of law works.
“We are not surprised that Fayose has resorted to cause disaffection within the APC ranks as we have seen recently.
